The Law Firm’s Ten Guidelines

1. The client is king – a principle especially true for a lawyer.
2. Nobody is perfect – but perfection is the measure of competent legal advice.
3. Speed may never lead to lack of quality.
4. To be discreet is the key requirement for the client’s confidence in his lawyer.
5. Reliability and precision – the basis of a lawyer’s success.
6. Legal advice is incomplete without an understanding of its economic context.
7. Knowledge of the industry and self-assurance never do any harm.
8. In the European common market and in the face of global communication we need lawyers who think globally.
9. The client is happy if his lawyer knows things other than law books.
10. Keep smiling.
